Replying to the post about camera bags:

I got one for my Minolta X-700 which doesn’t really fit and nothing else will go into the camera bag. I’ve gone to some photography stores and still can’t find anything. If they gave us an airplane to store our equipment and cameras in, I have the feeling it still wouldn’t fit!

If you are a photojournalist/paparazzi did you ever notice there isn’t ANY bag that really works? a question for all of you; how many bags have you tried but eventually tossed away?
I forgot how many by now. recently I had a bag made for me by a guy in chicago. he makes them from scratch. So you can design a bag based on your needs etc. My gear is a different and how i use it tends to differ so I had a bag made specifically for me. About a 2 week turn around and not too much money (300 bucks or so). If you are working with your cameras all day year round those of you will agree its cheap!
if anyone has any pre-made bag suggestions let me know?

Henry, I was just pulling your leg I can only imagine — everyone’s wearing a bikini while you are sweating, stuck to a viewfinder — pure torture man! You guys got some good shoots though — nice job!

Pbvm, Palm Springs was great! I don’t know if I had a blast since I did do a lot of work. Taking pictures of these celebrities is more work than people can imagine… Picture yourself surrounded by pretty people wearing almost nothing, but you not being able to look at them since you are concentrated on getting the money shot while in the hot sun and dehydrated. Yes! You do not look at the pretty people. I only had one chance to cool off in the pool… Mid-day, when the day party was over and people are getting ready for the night party. Then off to work again!
